Eun-Ji Lee – Between ancient gestures and new forms

Eun-Ji Lee creates objects at the crossroads of past and present.

Trained in Seoul at a traditional art school, she now explores ceramics as a personal, refined language deeply rooted in Korean culture. Her pieces are inspired by baekja (white porcelain) and Korean domestic rituals, but open up to contemporary, minimal, and timeless forms.

Each object is handcrafted, often in limited editions, with meticulous attention to texture, light, and the silence it exudes. For Eun-Ji, creation means resisting speed, honoring ancient gestures, and offering objects that live fully in our daily lives.
